As a Kaumātua in East Auckland for Victim Support and the Beth Shalom Trust, Billy’s commitment to service extends from Easter services to his celebrancy work. He’s a proud recipient of the Howick Volunteer Appreciation Award and is currently being considered for appointment as a Justice of the Peace. A member of Celebrants Aotearoa for several years, Billy also sits on the committee, guiding Auckland members in areas where Tikanga Māori is required.
